Deaf Hajj

First Deaf Hajj Delegation

Our Deepest Gratitude to the Royal Family of Al Saud for Inviting Us as the King’s Guests for Hajj 2025

First and foremost, my heartfelt thanks to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and His Royal Highness King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud, Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for extending our visit in the blessed city of Medina and the distinguished Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman ibn Nasser, CEO of Liajlehum Association and the Liajlehum Association for Serving People with Disabilities.

We were most honored by Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman ibn Nasser for inviting our organization, Islamic Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ISDHH), to be the honored guests of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and for hosting and guiding us during this blessed journey of Hajj, Alhumduli’Allah.

We owe our deep thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to our brother, Dr. Abdullah Alofi, for facilitating all the necessary documents, visas, flights, and accommodations in this process with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, and for helping all of our deaf participants with 24/7 intensive Sign Language interpretation during this blessed spiritual journey. Dr Alofi’s insights and professional interpreting skills that enabled all the deaf pilgrims to complete the rituals of Hajj, fulfilling their fifth pillar of Islam. We were all so thankful.

The experience has been nothing short of excellent. From the moment we arrived in the Kingdom, we were welcomed and guided with utmost loving care, honor, and respect. The level of planning, cleanliness, medical support, guidance, transportation, and security was truly outstanding, one of a kind. Every detail was thought through with the pilgrim’s comfort, safety, and hospitality in mind, Alhumduli’Allah. We very much appreciate all the interpretations provided for the TV Interviews. Thank you!

My deep gratitude and sincere thanks to the government of Saudi Arabia, the Hajj ministry authorities, and all those involved for the excellent care, generous hospitality, and management of the Hajj 2025 program for their guests.

The continuous hospitality and dedication shown by all their volunteers and officials reflect the Saudi Royal Kingdom’s commitment to hosting and serving the guests of Allah (SWT) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

May Allah (SWT) bless ALL those who contributed to making this Hajj a safe and spiritually enriching experience for ALL of our deaf pilgrims. Ameen

Thank you for making this once-in-a-lifetime journey so fulfilling, enriching, comfortable, and the most memorable one for me and the deaf Muslim pilgrims from Texas, USA!

JazaakAllah Khair!
